What else would CO2 emissions from fossil fuels be, if not a pollutant? I hope everyone realizes not to run their car inside a closed garage - without fresh air coming in, you're dead.
A smart culture would realize that running 600 million cars in a closed atmosphere might have some unwanted side effects.
Besides all that, in what kind of messed up world do we let corporations actually write laws for us?
