Michelle Malkin's 1994 Big Tobacco Recruitment Drive

I am doing some research today in the Tobacco Documents on the major tobacco front group, The Advancement of Sound Science Coalition (TASSC), which is a big focus of Jim Hoggan’s book, Climate Cover Up.

I came across a 1994 column written by right-wing blogger and Bill O”Reilly wanna-be, Michelle Malkin, back when she worked for the Los Angeles Daily News.

It literally reads like a membership recruitment letter for Big Tobacco’s main front group. She writes:

“So before purchasing some environmentally correct product from the Body Shop, why not pick upo Dixy Lee Ray’s “Trashing the Planet?” Or how about signing up for a free membership to TASSC?”
